An Iowa native, Audrey (She/Her) is a freelance lighting professional and assistant based in New York City. Audrey holds a B.F.A. in Lighting Design from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with departmental honors.
Audrey is deeply driven by storytelling, whether it is a story unfolding on stage or through people and places she encounters. An avid traveler as time and money allows, she seeks out exploring and learning about new places and people that challenge and expand her perspective of the world. Her work is continually shaped by the cultures she's explored, the conversations she's had, and the stories that stay with her.
At the heart of Audrey's love for the arts is her lifelong passion for music. Whether she is listening to the radio, attending a live show, or playing piano and saxophone, music remains a grounding force in her life. This emotional connection carries into her work in lighting, where she finds joy in amplifying the feeling and emotion that music evokes. This passion makes musicals, operas, and any project involving live music especially close to her heart.
